Dented Lens Photography was officially founded in early 2007. However, both photographers have been taking pictures for many years. Anthony Roberts has spent over a decade photographing various landscapes, people, and events. When he met up with Matthew O’Leary in 2000, he sparked a deep interest in photography within him. Since then, together they have grown exponentially in their knowledge and creativity with photography. While working together for several years has given them an uncanny ability to share similar thoughts and ideas with regard to photography, each bring with them their own unique style of shooting, allowing the customer to really experience two photographers for the price of one.

The team noticed there was a large field of studio photographers who all offered similar setups at often inflated prices. It was then they decided to create a business unlike any other. By offering a "portable studio", Dented Lens can present studio quality photography in the home or on location, allowing for very comfortable settings. While the equipment is portable, the cameras, lights, and backdrops are all of the highest quality. Without the high cost of studio space, Dented Lens is also able to offer much more reasonable rates than the standard photography studio.
